Building More Than Infrastructure
If you’re reading this, you’ve probably noticed something a little different on and around our worksite: a bright red excavator and signs bearing the Crohn’s and Colitis Canada logo, along with a QR code that brought you here.
That’s not by accident.
At Bullin Construction, building has always meant more than completing projects. As a proud third-generation, family-owned company, we are built on strength, integrity, and purpose—values passed down from our founder, Jack Bullin, to his son Stewart, and now to his grandson Mike. These values guide how we treat our people and the communities where we work.
Supporting Crohn’s and Colitis Canada is deeply personal. Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, and IBD are lifelong, invisible illnesses affecting more than 300,000 Canadians, yet they remain widely misunderstood.
This project is about changing that.
Living with IBD can be painful, isolating, and unpredictable. While there is no cure yet, there is hope—and it begins with awareness and action.
By wrapping heavy equipment in red and placing signs throughout the worksite, Bullin Construction is using what we know best—visibility, presence, and impact—to start important conversations. The same machines that build infrastructure are now helping build understanding and hope.
Funds raised support Crohn’s and Colitis Canada’s work in:
-
Advancing research toward better treatments and cures
-
Improving healthcare access and advocacy
-
Reducing stigma through education
-
Supporting individuals and families living with IBD
At Bullin Construction, strength isn’t just physical—it’s showing up with purpose and supporting others when it matters most.
If you’ve been impacted by Crohn’s or colitis, you’re not alone.
If you haven’t, this is your chance to stand alongside those who are.
Thank you for taking the time to learn, to care, and to help build something that lasts beyond this worksite.
Together, we can build awareness. Together, we can build change.
