Mamta and her children are baking in honour of her father, who lived with colitis for more than 40 years.
Many relatives and members of her South Asian community also live with Crohn's or colitis; conditions rarely talked about despite their impact. She hopes to raise awareness and support research that leads to earlier intervention, better treatments, and improved quality of life for people living with these chronic illnesses.
